RECORDING LIVE TV
Basic Recording
1. Turn VCR on. Press the On/Off button located on the VCR to power it on.
2. Insert a blank VHS tape into the VCR. Check to make sure the safety tab has not been broken off on the outside of the cassette or the tape will not be able to record.
3. Turn TV to selected channel. Change the TV channel to the show that will be recorded.
4. Press Record. Press the Record button to being taping.
5. Press Stop. Press the Stop/Eject button when done to end the recording function.
Caution: Used VHS tapes can be used to record again if the safety tab is still in place, however, the current contents will be recorded over and lost.
2. Insert a blank VHS tape into the VCR. Check to make sure the safety tab has not been broken off on the outside of the cassette or the tape will not be able to record.
3. Turn TV to selected channel. Change the TV channel to the show that will be recorded.
4. Press Record. Press the Record button to being taping.
5. Press Stop. Press the Stop/Eject button when done to end the recording function.

Timer Recording
1. Turn VCR on. Press the On/Off button located on the VCR to power it on.
2. Insert a blank VHS tape into the VCR. Check to make sure the safety tab has not been broken off on the outside of the cassette or the tape will not be able to record.
3. Press Menu. Press the Menu button to display the VCR Main Menu.
4. Select Timer Recording. Press the Down button to highlight the Timer Recordings option. Press the Play/Pause button to select it.
5. Select Create a New Program. Press Play/Pause to select the first option: Create a New Program.
6. Input the recording data. Use the Up, Down, and Play/Pause buttons to select:
Note: Check to make sure that the VCR clock time is set to the correct time.

- How often the program records
- Start and end time
- The channel number
Note: Check to make sure that the VCR clock time is set to the correct time.
Express Recording
1. Turn VCR on. Press the On/Off button located on the VCR to power it on.
2. Insert a blank VHS tape into the VCR. Check to make sure the safety tab has not been broken off on the outside of the cassette or the tape will not be able to record.
3. Turn TV to selected Channel. Power on the TV if it has not done yet and change it to the chosen channel.
4. Repeatedly Press Record. Press the Record button once to begin recording. Press recording again, once for each half hour that needs to be recorded (Ex. Press record five times to record two and a half hours). A maximum of four hours can be recorded at once. [1]
Note: VCR will automatically turn off after recording.
